I want to thank you.  
I didn't relise how loved I could be.
Thru' all the hard times, 
I knew I was safe but, couldn't see.
The total devotion you showed 
& gave willingly to me.
I want to thank you.  
For letting me grow within me.

I want to thank you - 
for being there, when I needed your love.
The greatest blessing, your presence.  
A gift from the heavens above.
You're my guardian angel, my strength, 
pushing without haste.
You stood patiently by, 
helping me put everything into place.

You called me by name, 
and chose me as your own.
Then guided me when I was blinded by fear.  
If I'd only known!
How deep your feeling ran, 
and that you shared all my pain.
I would have thanked you then, 
again & again & again.

But, it's never too late, 
to thank someone for all that love.
For every deed you performed, 
another star shines in the sky above.
I see it all because of your constant love, 
& you always knew -
I would spend my life willingly,
